Troubleshooting 1) Sensor failure Alarm condition: ambient temperature sensor is in short circuit or open circuit check if the wiring is correct according to wiring diagram no reconnect if sensor is fixed no well Relocate yes Is sensor resistance acceptable? no Replace sensor yes Is sensor short-circuit or open-circuit? no Replace PCB yes Replace sensor 2) Outdoor power module failure The following troubleshooting is available for: a. IPM failure(00001) b. Compressor U-phase,V-phase and W-phase over-current(00101), total unit over-current(00101) c. Compressor start-up abnormal(10001), Compressor jam(01111), Compressor phase loss(11110), Module lack-voltage protection(11011), Detect PFC over-current(01100), PFC voltage abnormal(11111) outdoor indicator indicate the above failure Check if the power no adjust the power supply normal as 220-230VAC, 50Hz yes check if the any current among compressor input port U-V-W is over high yes check if the system is blocked no check if module bottom temperature is over high, more than 90degree yes if ventilation beside the module radiator is good no yes if the total load is too big no yes if the refrigerant is normal yes compressor startup procedure is yes abnormal, and vibrates seriously no compressor can not start up improve the ventilation condition if compressor wiring is correct no wiring correctly stop the unit, restart up until power module temperature has reduced if the total unit operate normally yes if compressor winding is normal, and the each phase resistor is in balance no replace the module no replace compressor 57
