9 cisco-interoperability DRAFT: BROCADE CONFIDENTIAL cisco-interoperability Synopsis Operands Defaults Command Modes Description Usage Guidelines Examples See Also Configures the switch to interoperate with some legacy Cisco switches. cisco-interoperability [disable| enable] disable enable Disables Cisco interoperability for the Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP) switch. Enables Cisco interoperability for the MSTP switch. Cisco interoperability is disabled. Protocol Spanning Tree MSTP mode Use this command to enable or disable the switch to interoperate with some legacy Cisco switches. For some switches, the MSTP field Version 3 Length does not adhere to the current standards. If Cisco interoperability is required on any switch in the network, then all switches in the network must be compatible, and therefore enabled using this command for interoperability with a Cisco switch.
