USB/audio board cable, Remove the USB/audio board cable

USB/audio board cable NOTE: The USB/audio board spare part kit does not include the USB/audio board cable. The USB/audio board cable is available using spare part number L52063-001. Before removing the USB/audio board cable, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 23), and then remove the following components: a. Battery (see Battery on page 25) b. Solid-state drive (see Battery on page 25) c. System board (see System board on page 35) Remove the USB/audio board cable: 1. Turn the system board upside down with the rear edge toward you. 2. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which USB/audio board cable is connected, and then disconnect the USB/ audio board cable from the system board. 3. Remove the USB/audio board cable (2). NOTE:

Before removing the USB/audio board cable, follow these steps:

1.
Turn the system board upside down with the rear edge toward you.
2.
Release the ZIF connector

to which USB/audio board cable is connected, and then disconnect the USB/
audio board cable from the system board.
3.
Remove the USB/audio board cable

Reverse this procedure to install the USB/audio board cable.
