Removal and replacement procedures 4. Remove the battery (see "Battery" on page 4-6). Remove the switch cover and keyboard: 1. Turn the computer upside down, with the front toward you. 2. Remove the following screws: a. Two Phillips PM2.5×7.0 screws 1 that secure the switch cover to the computer b. Three Phillips PM2.5×4.0 screws 2 that secure the switch cover to the computer (these are inside the battery bay) c. Three Phillips PM2.5×6.5 screws 3 that secure the keyboard to the computer 3. Turn the computer display-side up, with the front toward you, and open the computer as far as possible. 4. Lift the rear edge of the switch cover until it detaches from the computer. Remove the switch cover and keyboard:
1. Turn the computer upside down, with the front toward you.
2. Remove the following screws:
a.
Two Phillips PM2.5×7.0 screws

b.
Three Phillips PM2.5×4.0 screws

that secure the switch cover to the computer (these are inside the

c.
Three Phillips PM2.5×6.5 screws
