Removal and replacement procedures When replacing the system board, be sure that the following additional components are removed from the defective system board and installed on the replacement system board: ■ Fan/heat sink assembly (see "Fan/heat sink assembly or heat sink" on page 4-52) ■ Processor (see "Processor" on page 4-57) Remove the system board: 1. Turn the computer display-side up. 2. Position the computer with the right side toward you. 3. Remove the system board:
1. Turn the computer display-side up.
2. Position the computer with the right side toward you.
3. Disconnect the following cables from the system board:

Fan cable
