Managing Storage Arrays Component Management Station Network Management Station (Optional) Host Storage Array Description A computer used to manage Storage Arrays on the network. The management station can be either a remote computer, or the host to which the Storage Array is connected. A Network Management Station (NMS) is a console with installed SNMPcompliant network management software that receives and processes information about managed network devices using SNMP (Simple Network Messaging Protocol).
