NOTE: Installing and Configuring Enhanced DFS 3.0 Removing Enhanced DFS Configuration Information and DFS Cache Files Removing Enhanced DFS Configuration Information and DFS Cache Files The easiest method to cleanly remove DCE configuration information and Enhanced DFS cache files from a node, returning DCE to an installed but pre-configured state, is: 1 Use dce_config to unconfigure the node from the DCE cell. This removes the node's information from the DCE servers and resets the node's system configuration files so that DCE and Enhanced DFS are not restarted automatically upon reboot. 2 Reboot the node. Neither DCE nor Enhanced DFS will start (this is the desired behavior). 3 Use dce_config to remove DCE and Enhanced DFS from the node. This removes the DCE and Enhanced DFS configuration files and Enhanced DFS cache files. Do not remove DCE and Enhanced DFS without first unconfiguring the node, unless you are destroying the cell. Removing Enhanced DFS Configuration Information
and DFS Cache Files
The easiest method to cleanly remove DCE configuration information and
Enhanced DFS cache files from a node, returning DCE to an installed but
pre-configured state, is:

Use
dce_config
to unconfigure the node from the DCE cell. This removes the
node’s information from the DCE servers and resets the node’s system
configuration files so that DCE and Enhanced DFS are not restarted
automatically upon reboot.

Reboot the node. Neither DCE nor Enhanced DFS will start (this is the
desired behavior).

Use
dce_config
to remove DCE and Enhanced DFS from the node. This
removes the DCE and Enhanced DFS configuration files and Enhanced DFS
