TCL Functions DCE TCL Functions NAME tcl_dce_set_security_acl - Sets ACLs on security objects in the namespace. Specifies the secd bindings directly on the command line. (Do not change this, unless you fully understand the implications.) It is not safe to assume that CDS is available to provide the bindings when this function is run. There are at least two cases that have been identified where CDS cannot provide the bindings. 1) secd has not yet registered with CDS, even though it attempts to every sixty seconds, and 2) in the split server server configuration, the CDS client is not yet configured on the CDS server when the ACL modifications are performed.
