System Board Removal/Replacement Removing the Front Panel Figure 2-1 Removing the Front Panel 1. Power down your workstation as described in "Getting Started." If locked, unlock the door on the front of the system and swing it to the right (see Step 1 in the figure below). 2. Once the door is open, unscrew the two panel-detach screws in the top and bottom corners of the right edge of the panel. These screws are visible when the door is open (Step 2 in the figure below). 3. Swing the entire front panel 45o to 90o to the left (Step 3 in the figure below). 4. Removing the Front Panel
1.
Power down your workstation as described in “Getting Started.” If
locked, unlock the door on the front of the system and swing it to the
right (see Step 1 in the figure below).
2.
Once the door is open, unscrew the two panel-detach screws in the top
and bottom corners of the right edge of the panel. These screws are
visible when the door is open (Step 2 in the figure below).

Swing the entire front panel 45

4.
Pull the panel straight out to remove it (Step 4 in the figure below).
