If it is not, press the Heat/Cool key until the display indicates HEAT. • If the temperature setting is higher than current temperature, and display indicates HEAT, contact your energy utility. • Heat pump thermostats have a built-in five minute time delay for heating. After changing the setting, the thermostat delays before starting the heating to prevent equipment damage. Cooling does not come on. • Check that the thermostat is set to cool. If it is not, press the Heat/Cool key until the display indicates COOL. • Check the fuse or circuit breaker and replace or reset, if necessary. • The thermostat has a built-in five minute time delay for cooling.
