Cautions Follow these precautions when using a battery in this device: • Use only the size and type of battery specified. • Make sure that you follow the correct polarity as indicated in the battery compartment when installing the battery. A reversed battery may cause damage to the clock radio. • If your clock radio is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the battery to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage. • The battery should not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunshine, fire, or the like. Dispose of the used battery as hazardous waste. • There is a danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type. Installing the remote control and remote control bracket To install the remote control and remote control bracket: 1 Put the remote control bracket onto the bracket holder (at the back of the clock radio). 2 Push the bracket downward until it clicks into place. 3 Insert the remote control into the bracket.
