No picture is displayed on the TV or no sound comes out through the HDMI connection. ZThe connected TV is not HDCP-compatible. ("HDCP ERR" appears on the display.) ZDisconnect the HDMI cable and connect it again, or use a shorter cable. Video and audio are distorted. ZThe disc is scratched or dirty. ZAudio/video files have not been properly copied on to the USB mass storage class device. ZA VCR is connected between the center unit and the TV. Connect the center unit and TV directly. ( 7) VCD/SVCD operation cannot be performed. ZSome functions do not work for VCDs/SVCDs when the PBC function is used. No sound is heard from the external components, or the video and audio do not match. ZThe selected audio input is not appropriate. Select the audio input to match the component connected. Attaching the dock adapter to the docking station Dock adapter (supplied for iPod or separately purchased) To detach the dock adapter from the docking station: Push the slot then pull up to remove the dock adapter. Docking station Disconnect the docking station from the center unit when attaching/detaching the dock adapter. Take care not to damage the terminal on the docking station when attaching/ detaching the dock adapter. 32
