Heavy soil ■ Mild, nonabrasive soaps and detergents: Heat 1 cup (250 mL) of water for 2 to 5 minutes in oven. Steam will soften soil. Rinse with clean water and dry with soft, lint-free cloth. Odors ■ Lemon juice or vinegar: ■ Heat 1 cup (250 mL) of water with 1 tbs (15 mL) of either lemon juice or vinegar for 2 to 5 minutes in oven. However, the ceiling above the grill element may need regular cleaning. Cleaning Method: ■ Warm water, mild detergent and a sponge. To clean: 1. Twist the ceramic hook 90° but do not remove. 2. Lower the front of the grill element to access the ceiling for cleaning. 3. Raise grill element back up and twist the ceramic hook back. Always return the grill element to the cooking position after cleaning. 24
