Selecting [ON] displays a message notifying that the HDD will be formatted. To encrypt data on the HDD, press the Menu/Select key, then enter the encryption word (using 20 single-byte characters with case-sensitivity). Entering the encryption word restarts this machine to format the HDD. [OFF] is specified by default.
