Useful transmission functions 6 Screen display Basic settings [Quality Adjustment] [Erase] [Book Scan] [Application] Description [Original Type], [Simplex/Duplex], [Resolution], [Density], [Separate Scan] are set. →page 2-12, page 2-8 [Background Remov- Adjusts the density of background color of the al] original. →page 6-7 [Sharpness] Emphasizes the character edges. →page 6-10 [Frame Erase] Erases the black shadow on Top, Bottom, Right, and Left of the original when a booklet is scanned. →page 6-13 [Book Copy] When book or catalog is scanned, it scans a spread as separate left and right pages and faxes 1 page at a time. →page 6-17 [Scan Size] Sends the fax after specifying the scan size. This is useful when you want to fax only a portion of the original. →page 6-23 [Annotation] The original can be saved in the box with date/ time and filing number at the same time as the transmission of the Fax.
