About Security Mode Security mode refers to the machine status in which the Security Kit has been installed on the copy machine and is functioning properly. A hard disk icon displays in the right upper corner of the copy machine touch panel when in security mode. (The hard disk icon displays on the screens of the copy, printer, scanner, and fax functions.)
