Press the keys corresponding to the required digits before manually switching back to the appropriate text entry mode. Using the Symbol Mode The Symbol Mode enables you to enter various symbols or special characters. To enter a symbol, press the [Star] key. Use , to scroll through pages, and press the corresponding number keys to enter symbols. When you are finished press the left soft key OK. T9 dictionary The T9 dictionary is a feature that allows the user to add any unique or personal words to the T9 standard language database. To add a word to the T9 Dictionary: 1. While in T9 Mode, press the right soft key Options. 2. Select New T9 Word. 3. Type in the word you want to add and press the left soft key Save. 23
