EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT SETUP ■■ To prevent damage, do not connect the set to the a power outlet until all connections have been made between the devices. ANTENNA CONNECTION ■■ For optimum picture quality, adjust the antenna's direction. ■■ An antenna cable and converter are not included with the Monitor set. EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT SETUP Wall Antenna Socket Outdoor Antenna (VHF, UHF) Multi-family Dwellings/Apartments (Connect to wall antenna socket) RF Coaxial Wire (75 Ω) Single-family Dwellings/Houses (Connect to wall jack for outdoor antenna) Antenna UHF VHF Signal Amplifier ■■ To get better picture quality in poor signal areas, install a signal amplifier to the antenna as shown above. ■■ If the signal needs to be split for two devices, use an antenna signal splitter. 15
