28 MAINTENANCE 5 Insert the brush into the brush case, starting with the right side. •• Dust may build up at the brush inlet at the bottom of the brush. Periodically remove the buildup using another vacuum cleaner or a soft brush. 6 Reassemble the brush case on the nozzle. •• If the suction power has become weaker, check the suction port for clogs or foreign materials. Use a toothpick to remove the foreign substance. NOTE •• If the bristles have become bent, wrap the brush in a wet towel and wait until they have straightened out. Allow the the brush to dry completely before reassembling. −−To avoid corroding the bearings, do not immerse the brush assembly in water while cleaning.
