ENGLISH Locking/Unlocking the Control Panel 1 Turn on the power. 2 Press and hold the Time Dry button for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate this function. • When the function is deactivated, a chime will sound and the remaining time for the current cycle will reappear on the display. Signal The dryer plays a melody when the dry cycle is finished. The buttons make a sound each time a button is pressed. Use this button to turn the melody and button tones on or off. • To turn the function on/off, press and hold the Wrinkle Care button for 3 seconds. NOTE • When the rack is installed, the drum will rotate as usual, but the rack will not move. Make sure all articles to be dried remain completely on the rack and cannot fall off or be pulled off by the turning drum. Be sure to remove the rack after use. • Some models do not include the drying rack. To purchase a drying rack, contact an LG Electronics Customer Information Center or visit the website at http://www.lg.com. 1 With the door open, slide the rack into the drum. Condenser Care The appliance automatically cleans built-up lint off of the condenser using water condensed from the drying process. If needed, the condenser can also be cleaned manually. See the Maintenance section for details. 2 Seat the front of the rack securely on the inner door rim and the back of the rack on the rim at the back of the drum. Drum Light The drum is equipped with a white LED light that illuminates when the dryer is turned on. This light automatically turns off when the door is closed and the cycle starts. • Press and hold the Condenser Care button for 3 seconds during the cycle to turn on the drum light. • The drum light will turn off automatically after 4 minutes. Rack Dry Use this function with items, such as wool sweaters, silk items, and lingerie, that should be dried flat. The function can also be used with items 3 Place wet items on the rack. Allow space around the items for air to circulate. 4 Close the door. Turn on the power and select Time Dry. 5 Adjust drying time by pressing the More Time and Less Time buttons.

Locking/Unlocking the Control Panel

Turn on the power.

Press and hold the
Time Dry
button for 3
seconds to activate/deactivate this function.
When the function is deactivated, a chime will
sound and the remaining time for the current
cycle will reappear on the display.
Signal
The dryer plays a melody when the dry cycle is

button is pressed. Use this button to turn the

Wrinkle Care
button for 3 seconds.
Condenser Care
The appliance automatically cleans built-up lint off
of the condenser using water condensed from the
drying process. If needed, the condenser can also
be cleaned manually. See the
Maintenance
section for details.
Drum Light

CAUTION
NEVER tumble dry a load of clothing with the
rack installed.
NOTE
When the rack is installed, the drum will rotate
