CRU instructions Replacing the wireless LAN card To replace the wireless LAN card, do the following: Note: • Make sure the computer is turned off and all the cables disconnected from the computer before you replace the LAN card. • Make sure the computer display is closed to avoid being damaged. 1 Remove the battery pack. To
replace
the
wireless
LAN
card,
do
the
following:

Remove
the
battery
pack.
For
details,
see
“Replacing
the
battery
pack”
on
page
31.

Remove
the
screws
,
and
then
remove
the
bottom
slot
cover
.

Disconnect
the
two
wireless
LAN
cables
(one
black,
one
white)
.
Remove
the
screw
that
secures
the
wireless
LAN
card
.
Note:
•
Make
sure
the
computer
is
turned
off
and
all
the
cables
disconnected
from
the
computer
before
you
replace
the
LAN
card.
•
Make
sure
the
computer
display
is
closed
to
avoid
being
damaged.
