If this is the case, you need to replace the print cartridge. For help, see Maintaining the cartridges. Examine the test pattern.

If the printed bars of the printout fade on either side or are shorter than the other bars,
the cartridge is running low on that particular color ink. If this is the case, you need to
replace the print cartridge. For help, see

. If this is not the
case, go to step 3.
