Chapter 3: Setting Up the Cordless Internet Telephony Kit Overview This chapter gives instructions on how to set up the Telephony Kit on your network, as well how to set up your PC and how to set the Handset's clock. Setting Up the Telephony Kit To begin setting up the Telephony Kit: 1. Connect the Base Station's USB plug to a USB port on your PC. 2. Place the two rechargeable NiMH AAA batteries (included), observing their polarities, into the Handset's battery compartment and slide the battery cover firmly back into place. Overview
This chapter gives instructions on how to set up the Telephony Kit on your network, as well how to set up your PC
and how to set the Handset’s clock.
Setting Up the Telephony Kit
To begin setting up the Telephony Kit:
1.
Connect the Base Station’s USB plug to a USB port on your PC.
2.
Place the two rechargeable NiMH AAA batteries (included), observing their polarities, into the Handset’s
battery compartment and slide the battery cover firmly back into place.
