BIOS Setup OnBoard Floppy Controller This item allows you to enable/ disable the floppy controller. Serial Port 1/2 Address These items specify the base I/O port addresses of the onboard Serial Port 1 (COM 1) / Serial Port 2 (COM 2). Selecting [Auto] allows BIOS to automatically determine the correct base I/O port address. Serial Port2 M ode This setting allows you to specify the operation mode for serial port 2. [Normal] RS-232C Serial Port [IrDA] IrDA-compliant Serial Infrared Port [ASKIR] Amplitude Shift Keyed Infrared Port Parallel Port Address This field specifies the base I/O port address of the onboard parallel port. Selecting [Auto] allows BIOS to automatically determine the correct base I/O port address. Parallel Port M ode [Normal] Standard Parallel Port [EPP] Enhanced Parallel Port [ECP] Extended Capability Port [ECP+ EPP] Extended Capability Port + Enhanced Parallel Port [Bi-Directional] To operate the onboard parallel port as Standard Parallel Port only, choose [SPP]. To operate the onboard parallel port in the EPP mode simultaneously, choose [EPP]. By choosing [ECP], the onboard parallel port will operate in ECP mode only. Choosing [ECP + EPP] will allow the onboard parallel port to support both the ECP and EPP modes simultaneously. Parallel Port IRQ This item allows you to set parallel port IRQ. 3-13

Serial Port 1/2 Address
These items specify the base I/O port addresses of the onboard Serial Port 1
