Dispose of rechargeable batteries properly. You may need to recycle them. Refer to your battery's label for battery type, and contact your local recycling centre for proper disposal methods. Never dispose of batteries in a fire because they may explode. Turning Your Handset On Press and hold to turn on and off After you turn the handset on, your personal home page displays after the startup sequence. See "Home Screen" on page 34 to learn more about this screen. Setting up Your Handset When you turn on the handset for the first time, it prompts you to: • Select primary and secondary languages • Calibrate the screen for accurate screen taps • Enter current time and date After the setup sequence, you can bring up the calibration screen anytime by pressing the Shortcut key (D) and then pressing Game key A (F).
