Your phone uses your Primary mode when you start a new text message. To assign a Primary or Secondary text entry mode in a text entry screen, press s > Entry Setup > Primary Setup or Secondary Setup, then select the desired entry mode: iTAP™ TAP Let the phone predict each word as you press keys. Enter letters and numbers by pressing a key one or more times.
