memory card setup You can store multimedia content, such as songs and pictures, on your phone's internal memory or on an optional memory card. Note: Your phone supports microSD memory cards with up to 2 GB capacity (greater than 1 GB capacity is guaranteed only for SanDisk microSD cards). format memory card You will need to format the memory card before using it for the first time. This essential procedure creates the Music and Pictures directories. If you do not format a memory card before using it for the first time, your phone may not be able to read the contents of the card. Caution: Formatting the memory card erases all content on the card. If there are no files stored on your memory card then your phone will automatically switch to its internal memory.
