Thereafter, you may begin navigating or just simulate the route. 6.3.1 Calculating and displaying the route In order to receive an overview it is possible to calculate the route and display it on the map even without GPS-tracking. The ROUTE PLANNING window is open. You have specified the starting point and at least one route stop (refer to chapter "Route planning", page 48) or load a route (refer to chapter "Loading routes", page 52). 1. Tap on the Show Route button. The map opens in Preview mode. The starting point and the route stops are marked with flags. The distance and the estimated time of the trip are indicated for each leg of the route. This data is also indicated for the entire trip. 6.3.2 Simulating the route Exit simulation You can also just simulate navigation. Note: GPS-tracking is not required for simulating the route. Only routes up to maximum distance of 60 mi can be simulated. You have calculated and displayed a route. (see chapter "Calculating and displaying the route", page 54) 1. Tap on the Options button. The options list opens. 2. Tap on the Simulation option. The route is recalculated for the simulation. Simulation is started after the calculation. Route simulation can be terminated at any time. 1. Tap on the (Back) button. A dialog box will prompt you to confirm your exit from the navigation. The MAIN WINDOW then opens. - 54 - Navigation

Navigation

6.3.1
Calculating and displaying the route

Simulating the route

Note:
