User Manual NAVIGON Mobile Navigator Setting Brightness Day Brightness Night Speed-Dependent Volume Delayed Speech Output Show Demo Meaning and possible values Select a degree of brightness (1 to 8) for the display in "day" mode. The factory default is 8. Select a degree of brightness (1 to 8) for the display in "night" mode. The factory default is 1. Determine whether you want the volume to automatically increase as your speed increases. No: The volume is not controlled in dependence on the speed. Low amplification: The volume increases slightly in accordance with an increase in speed. High amplification: The volume increases considerably in accordance with an increase in speed. The factory default is No. If you have connected the navigation device to the radio mute input of your car radio, your radio may not reduce its volume quickly enough. Delay speech output slightly to avoid audio overlap. The factory default is No. Specify the time interval after which a product demo appears in cases where the navigation system is not being used. The factory default is After 30 sec. 9.3 Current Map The CURRENT MAP window shows which map the navigation system is currently using. If several navigation maps are available on the currently inserted memory card, then you can select a different map. 1. Tap on the map's name. A list of all the available maps opens. If the list is long, you can move within it using the buttons. (Up) and (Down) 2. Tap on the map you wish to use. 3. Tap on the OK button. The CURRENT MAP window opens again. The new map is entered.
