User Manual NAVIGON Mobile Navigator 8.3 Inserting an interim destination You can add an interim destination at any time during the navigation. The navigation system will then guide you to this interim destination first. Thereafter, you can simply continue navigating to your original destination. If the map is opened in the Navigation mode, then proceed as follows: 1. Tap any spot on the map. 2. Tap on the Interim Destination button. The INTERIM DESTINATION menu opens. 3. Specify a destination as described in chapter "Specifying a new destination" on page 27. 4. Tap on the Add button. The route is recalculated. The interim destination is activated as the next stop on the route. If you are navigating and the map is opened in Destination search mode, then proceed as follows: 1. Tap on the point on the map that you would like to specify as an interim destination. Note: Please refer to chapter "Map in the Destination search mode" on page 65 for information on how to change the map view so that your destination can easily be seen. The destination that you have selected appears in the cross hairs. The geographical coordinates of the destination and the corresponding address are shown in the Selected Destination field in the lower third of the screen. 2. Tap on the (OK) button. The DESTINATION ON MAP window opens. The detailed address data of the selected destination is displayed in the upper lefthand corner. 3. Tap on the Interim Destination button. The route is recalculated. The interim destination is activated as the next stop on the route. - 72 - Inserting an interim destination
