First Steps Charging the Battery The CHARGE lamp status and description of each status are as follows. CHARGE lamp Blinks Glows Flickers Description Battery recharging. Battery fully charged. • Battery not correctly inserted: Remove and reinsert the battery, being careful to insert it at a low angle. • Operating temperature range exceeded: Use the charger inside the designated temperature range (5 to 35 °C / 41 to 95 °F). • Battery malfunction: Stop charging immediately, unplug the charger, and take both the battery and charger to your retailer or Nikon service representative. 3 Unplug the charger.
