U (Manual) Mode B Note on Shutter Speed • When Continuous, BSS or Multi-shot 16 is selected for Continuous (A 100), the slowest shutter speed available is 1 s. • When ISO sensitivity (A 101) is set to 6400, the slowest shutter speed available is 4 s. When it is set to 12800, the slowest shutter speed available is 2 s. • When the shutter speed is made slower and the shutter speed indicator turns red, noise will be reduced in the recorded image. In such case, image recording time becomes longer. B Shutter Speed of 1/2,000 s A shutter speed of 1/2,000 s is only available at the wide-angle zoom position. B Note on ISO Sensitivity • Even if ISO sensitivity (A 101) in the shooting menu is set to Auto (default setting) or High ISO sensitivity auto, ISO sensitivity will change to manual setting by selecting the U shooting mode. • When the ISO sensitivity is changed by following Step 7 (A 59) in the shooting mode U and a picture is shot, the ISO sensitivity setting in the shooting menu will also change. • When you take a picture in the W, X or V shooting mode after using the U shooting mode, check the ISO sensitivity in the shooting menu. 60 Shooting in W, X, V, and U Modes
