SIM messages SIM messages are specific text messages that are saved to your SIM card. You can copy or move those messages from the SIM to the phone memory, but not vice versa. Instant messaging With instant messaging (IM, network service) you can send short text messages to online users. You must subscribe to a service and register with the IM service you want to use. Check the availability of these services, pricing, and instructions with your service provider. The menus may vary depending on your IM provider. To connect to the service, select Menu > Messaging > I M and follow the instructions on the display.
