Setting limitations and Default settings (Metering modes) The setting for the Metering modes differs depending on the shooting mode concerned as shown below. Mode dial (Mode menu) S-Prg Setting limitation (-: Not available) Factory default setting - P A/S/M/ Digital ESP or Spot metering is available. Any of the 4 Metering modes are available. Digital ESP ● No selection other than the default setting Digital ESP is available for the S-Prg mode except for the Movie mode. For the Movie mode, Digital ESP or Spot metering is available. The P and A/S/M/ modes allow you to select any Metering mode. However, change in one shooting mode is forcibly applied to other shooting modes except for mode. ● For mode, the setting can be changed separately from other shooting modes. ● If the camera is set to manual focus, you cannot select the macro mode. ~ Continued on next page 103
