Chapter 6 Sharpness This function adjusts the sharpness of images. In the top menu, select MODE MENU T PICTURE T SHARPNESS, then press í. Sharpness can be adjusted between +5 and -5 using Ññ. Press after selecting the desired value to complete the setting. To start shooting, press again. The outlines of images are more emphasized, and the images themselves look more vivid, making this ideal for printing. Factory default setting The outlines of images are softer, making this ideal for editing the images on a computer. Setting limitations and Default settings (Sharpness) Sharpness can be adjusted within the range of‫מ‬5 to ‫ם‬5 for all the shooting modes. The default setting is ‫ע‬0 for all the shooting modes. The shooting modes are classified into the following two groups in which the members share the same setting with each other. If the setting is changed in one of the members of a group, the changed setting is forcibly applied to the other members of the group.
