Advanced shooting modes For more advanced shooting and greater creative control, you can set the aperture value and shutter speed. P : Program shooting The camera sets the optimum aperture value and shutter speed automatically according to the subject brightness. This mode is useful if you do not necessarily want to use the flash. You can also perform program shift as needed to change the combination of 3 aperture and shutter speed while keeping the correct EV (exposure value). 1 Set the mode dial to P.
