No digital audio output. Dolby Digital encoded digital audio is output when playing a Dolby Digital DVD disc. Dolby Digital audio is converted to PCM audio before being output. DTS encoded digital audio is output when playing a DTS disc. (Noise will be output if your amplifier/receiver is not compatible with DTS audio.) No digital audio is output when playing a DTS disc. DTS audio is converted to PCM audio before being output. 96kHz digital audio is converted to 48kHz for digital output. 96kHz digital audio is output as is at 96kHz. MPEG encoded digital audio is output as is. MPEG encoded digital audio is converted to PCM audio for digital output. Set if your monitor or device only accepts stereo input. On this setting multichannel audio is downmixed to 2 channels for stereo linear PCM output. (In case of DTS source, the HDMI audio output is turned off.) Dolby Digital, DTS and MPEG sources are processed according to how they were encoded, but if your amplifier/monitor is not compatible with DTS audio, DTS audio output from HDMI is turned off. Linear PCM sources are heard as is. No digital audio output. Choose this option when you want to change the "Digital Audio Out". 45
