If this is the case, power must be supplied in a different way. • Do not connect more than one drive even through a hub or any other device. Even with devices other than a hard disk drive, do not connect to the drive together with the hard disk drive through a hub. • The unit does not support a hard disk drive of 2 TB (2048 GB) or more. • To prevent copying or formatting problems from occurring during connection to a hard disk drive, be sure that the camera's battery is sufficiently charged or use the AC adaptor. • Versions 2.** and later of the P2 STORE (AJ-PCS060G) support USB host mode for this unit. Versions 1.** cannot connect. Please upgrade. Viewing hard disk drive information You can view the information on the hard disk drive connected via USB with the following steps. 1 Switch the mode to USB HOST. • "Switching to the USB HOST mode" (Page 111) • The thumbnail screen is displayed. (USB HOST is displayed in the bottom right.) 2 Connect the hard disk drive to the camera- recorder via USB 2.0. 3 Press the MENU button and select HDD → EXPLORE from the thumbnail menu. The screen provides the information about the hard disk drive. For Type S or P2 STORE Press the EXIT button. ↑↓ Press the SET button. For the FAT Press the EXIT button. ↑↓ Press the SET button. 112

Connect the hard disk drive to the camera-
recorder via USB 2.0.
