Disk Drive (KN2400) Part VI Disk Drive (KN2400) Outline of the Disk Drive function The Disk Drive enables you to store recorded and stored data from this instrument's memories on disks, as well as play commercial recorded disks on this instrument. Internal memory and Disk Drive The storable internal memory of this instrument as well as the backup time are limited. However, the Disk Drive maximizes your control of data management by allowing you to store (SAVE) this instrument's data on disks, and then to recall (LOAD) it at any time. • The BACK UP data will not be erased even with the passage of time. Ⅲ The following data can be saved/loaded: Floppy Disk Drive SAVE LOAD PERFORMANCE CURRENT PANEL (The current panel settings) PANEL MEMORY* SEQUENCER COMPOSER* (MEMORY contents) SOUND MEMORY* PERFORMANCE PADS (USER memories) EFFECT MEMORY* BACKUP MIDI & FAVORITES • When creating or saving song data, it is recommended that you use the performance data in the PERFORMANCE group. Floppy disk • Instead of using MIDI & FAVORITES as frequently loaded and saved data, it is recommended that you save it with other data as Keyboard backup data. • A ∗ mark indicates that data can be loaded to and from a specific memory (SINGLE LOAD). • The SEQUENCER contents can be saved in one-song increments (SEQUENCER SONG SAVE). • Please use 2HD disks to load/save BACKUP data. The Disk Drive enables you to store recorded and stored data from this instrument’s memories on disks,
as well as play commercial recorded disks on this instrument.
Internal memory and Disk Drive

When creating or saving song data, it is rec-
ommended that you use the performance data
in the PERFORMANCE group.
Instead of using MIDI & FAVORITES as fre-
quently loaded and saved data, it is recom-
mended that you save it with other data as
Keyboard backup data.
A
