1 Preface 6. Screw tightening • The screws and bolts must be tightened with an appropriate tightening torque according to the material and strength of the installation area. • Do not use an impact driver. Use of an impact driver may damage the screws or cause tightening excessively. • When a screw is tightened, make the screw at a right angle to the surface. After tightening the screws or bolts, perform checks to ensure that the tightening is sufficient enough so that there is no movement or looseness. 7. Coaxial cable connections • Disconnect the coaxial cable from all devices and measure the insulation resistance of the coaxial cable (new or existing) before making connections. Insulation resistance value: 1 MW or more for DC 500 V • Confirm the length of the coaxial cable (see page 30, page 32). • We recommend RG-6/U coaxial cable. • The performance of the coaxial cable may be affected if it is relayed. • Use only the following recommended BNC plug when connecting coaxial cables to the BNC connectors of the unit. - Applicable plug: MIL-C39012C, MIL-C39012/16F, or BS CECC2212: 1981 (Suffixes attached to the standards may be updated.) BNC plug (locally procured) Coaxial cable (locally procured) - Tip dimensions inside the recommended BNC plug Diameter: 1.32 mm (0.052 inches) to 1.37 mm (0.054 inches) Diameter: 0.13 mm (0.005 inches) to 0.69 mm (0.027 inches) IMPORTANT • Use a suitable plug.
