Installing the image processing software This section describes the procedures for installing ACDSee™ which lets you view recorded images on your computer and ACD photostitcher which lets you create panorama pictures. Caution • The ACD photostitcher is only for the English version and the Japanese version. • If you are using Windows 2000 or Windows XP, login by the authority of the administrator before installing the software. See the operating manual for your computer for instructions on how to login. Installing the ACDSee™ When installing the ACDSee™, recorded images can be viewed and edited on your computer. z Turn on your computer. x Insert the CD-ROM (S-SW7) into your CD-ROM drive. The PENTAX Software Installer screen will appear. If the PENTAX Software Installer screen is not displayed Follow the procedure below to display the screen. 1) Double click the [My Computer] icon on the desktop. 2) Double click the [CD-ROM Drive (S-SW7)] icon. 3) Double click the [Setup.exe] icon. c Click your applicable language. You can choose the language from the following: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese. v Click the [ACDSee™]. The Setup screen will appear. Follow the on-screen guidance and enter the registration information. Reboot your PC after installation finish. Playback/Erasing 110

This section describes the procedures for installing ACDSee™
which lets you view recorded images on your computer and
ACD photostitcher which lets you create panorama pictures.
• The ACD photostitcher is only for the English version and
the Japanese version.

If you are using Windows 2000 or Windows XP, login by
the authority of the administrator before installing the

Installing the ACDSee™
When installing the ACDSee™, recorded images can be viewed
and edited on your computer.

Turn on your computer.

Insert the CD-ROM (S-SW7) into your CD-ROM drive.
The PENTAX Software Installer screen will appear.

If the PENTAX Software Installer screen is not displayed
Follow the procedure below to display the screen.
1)
Double click the [My Computer] icon on the desktop.
2)
Double click the [CD-ROM Drive (S-SW7)] icon.
3)
Double click the [Setup.exe] icon.

Click your applicable language.
You can choose the language from the following: English,
French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese.

Click the [ACDSee™].
The Setup screen will appear. Follow the on-screen guid-
ance and enter the registration information. Reboot your PC
after installation finish.
