LOADING THE FILM The camera is designed for use with ISO 100 & 400 DX encoded films. If DX encoded films are not available, use ISO 100 film. Always load film in the shade. NEVER LOAD OR UNLOAD FILM IN BRIGHT LIGHT OR DIRECT SUNLIGHT. (Fig. 3) 1. Open the back cover of the camera by pushing the back cover latch (10) in the direction of the arrow. (Fig. 4) 2. Insert the bottom part of the film cassette first into the film chamber (18). (Fig. 5) 3. Pull out the film so as the tip of the film aligns with the film loading indicator (23). (Fig. 6) 4. Close the back cover. 5. With "DX" film, the film speed is automatically set. 6. Open the lens cover by sliding the lens cover slider (9). Camera will not operate while the lens cover is closed. (Fig. 7) 7. Depress the shutter button (1) few times until the exposure counter (2) shows "1". (Fig. 8) The film transport signal (11) will spin if the film is advancing. If it does not spin, reload the film correctly. (Fig. 9) SPECIAL NOTE Use films for color or black-and-white prints only.
