Setting the Distance between Needles The piping head has markings for adjusting to different needle spacings: The lower parts can be adjusted after the two screws on the back of the clamp have been slackened off (right-hand photo). Narrow Piping with piping foot 847 665 Medium-wide Piping with piping foot 847 667 Wide Piping with piping foot 847 666 The markings on the upperpart of theclamp must be set in line with the outside markings on the under part. The markings on the upperpart of theclamp must be set in line with the centre markings on the under part. The markings on the upperpart of theclamp must be set in line with the inner-most of the three markings on the under part. After setting the needles to the required spacing, tighten the screws at the back of the clamp. Now attach the piping foot corresponding to the needle spacing. I i!1 I
