Initial Setting Switching the Handsfree Telephoning (TEL 1) (for DEH-P7300) You can switch the Handsfree Telephoning ON/OFF in accordance with the connection of the cellular telephone you use. When using the Handsfree Telephone unit (sold separately), select "Hands-Free:ON". 1. Press the FUNCTION button and select the Handsfree Telephoning mode (TEL 1) in the Initial Setting Menu. 2. Switch the Handsfree Telephoning ON/OFF with the 5/∞ buttons. Switching the Telephone Muting/Attenuation (TEL 2) (for DEH-P7300) When a call is made or received using a cellular telephone connected to this product, you can select to have this system's volume muted or attenuated. You can select between muting and attenuation when using the Handsfree Telephone Unit (when "Hands-Free:OFF" is selected). 1. Press the FUNCTION button and select the Telephone Muting/Attenuation mode (TEL 2) in the Initial Setting Menu. 2. Switch the Telephone Muting/Attenuation with the 2/3 buttons. Switching the Telephone Standby (TEL 2) (for DEH-P7300) If you want to use the Handsfree Telephone unit without playing other sources of this product, activate the Telephone Standby mode. 1. Press the FUNCTION button and select the Telephone Standby mode (TEL 2) in the Initial Setting Menu. 2. Switch the Telephone Standby ON/OFF with the 5/∞ buttons. Note: • You can select the Telephone Standby mode when "Hands-Free:ON" is selected in the Handsfree Telephoning mode. 45
