08 Digital Audio Out settings Setting HDMI Out (DV-410V only) Digital Out Dolby Digital Out DTS Out 96kHz PCM Out MPEG Out Option LPCM (2CH) Auto Off On Off Dolby Digital Dolby Digital > PCM DTS DTS > PCM (for DV-410V) Off (for DV-310) 96kHz > 48kHz 96kHz MPEG MPEG > PCM What it means Set if your monitor or device only accepts stereo input. On this setting multichannel audio is downmixed to 2 channels for stereo linear PCM output. Dolby Digital, DTS and MPEG sources are processed according to how they were encoded, and linear PCM sources are heard as is. No digital audio output. Choose this option when you want to change the Digital Audio Out settings. Digital audio is output from the digital outputs. No digital audio output. Dolby Digital encoded digital audio is output when playing a Dolby Digital DVD disc. Dolby Digital audio is converted to PCM audio before being output. DTS encoded digital audio is output when playing a DTS disc. (Noise will be output if your amplifier/ receiver is not compatible with DTS audio.) No digital audio is output when playing a DTS disc.DTS audio is converted to PCM audio before being output. No digital audio is output when playing a DTS disc. 96 kHz digital audio is converted to 48 kHz for digital output. 96 kHz digital audio is output as is at 96 kHz.
