On this setting multichannel audio is downmixed to 2 channels for stereo linear PCM output. Dolby Digital, DTS and MPEG sources are processed according to how they were encoded, and linear PCM sources are heard as is. No digital audio output. Choose this option when you want to change the Digital Audio Out settings. Digital audio is output from the digital outputs. No digital audio output. Dolby Digital encoded digital audio is output when playing a Dolby Digital DVD disc. Dolby Digital audio is converted to PCM audio before being output. DTS encoded digital audio is output when playing a DTS disc. (Noise will be output if your amplifier/ receiver is not compatible with DTS audio.) No digital audio is output when playing a DTS disc.DTS audio is converted to PCM audio before being output. digital output.
