Troubleshooting CONTROL DISPLAY Problem The display goes blank. The display flashes. Possible cause A fuse in your home may be blown or the circuit breaker tripped. There was a power failure. Solution Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker. Reset the clock. COOKTOP Problem Possible cause Solution The surface units will not maintain a rolling boil or will not cook fast enough. You may be using inappropriate cookware. In some areas, the power (voltage) may be low. Use pans that are flat and match the diameter of the surface unit selected. Cover the pan with a lid until the desired heat is obtained. The surface units will not turn on. A fuse in your home may be blown or a circuit breaker may have tripped.
