ENGLISH Using the CAMCORDER - Advanced Recording q AUDIO MODE ✤ The AUDIO MODE function works in CAMCORDER mode. ✤ This camcorder records sound in two ways. (12bit, 16bit) s 12bit : You can record two 12bit stereo sound tracks. The original stereo sound can be recorded onto the MAIN (SOUND1) track. Additional stereo sound can be dubbed onto the SUB (SOUND2) track. s 16bit : You can record one high quality stereo sound using the 16bit recording mode. Audio dubbing is not possible when using this mode. q ✤ ✤ s s 1. Set the device to CAMCORDER and set the power switch to REC mode. 2. Press the MENU button. s The menu list will appear. CAMCORDER REC MODE INITIAL CAMCORDER CAMERA MEMORY VIEWER RECORD SET PLAY SET s 3. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight CAMCORDER and press the MENU DIAL. 4. Select RECORD SET from the sub-menu and press the MENU DIAL. 5. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight AUDIO MODE and press the MENU DIAL. CAMCORDER REC MODE CAMCORDER SET RECORD SET PLAY SET 6. Select the AUDIO MODE you wish to use from the menu then press the MENU DIAL. CAMCORDER REC MODE s The AUDIO MODE toggles between 12bit-16bit CAMCORDER SET s with each press of the dial. AUDIO MODE
The AUDIO MODE function works in CAMCORDER mode.
This camcorder records sound in two ways. (12bit, 16bit)
■
12bit : You can record two 12bit stereo sound tracks.
The original stereo sound can be recorded onto the
MAIN (SOUND1) track.
Additional stereo sound can be dubbed onto the
SUB (SOUND2) track.
■
16bit : You can record one high quality stereo sound using
the 16bit recording mode.
Audio dubbing is not possible when using this mode.
1.
Set the device to CAMCORDER and set
the power switch to REC mode.
2.
Press the MENU button.

The menu list will appear.
3.
Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight CAMCORDER
and press the MENU DIAL.
4.
Select RECORD SET from the sub-menu and
press the MENU DIAL.
5.
Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight AUDIO MODE
and press the MENU DIAL.
6.
Select the AUDIO MODE you wish to use from the
menu then press the MENU DIAL.

The AUDIO MODE toggles between 12bit-16bit
with each press of the dial.
7.
To exit, press the MENU button.
