ENGLISH Advanced Techniques Digital Zoom in CAMERA Mode ✤ A 6x Digital Zoom is provided. ✤ ✤ The Digital Zoom, which differs from the Optical Zoom, may cause ✤ deterioration of image quality. Please use with caution. 1. Set the device to CAMERA and set the power switch to REC mode. CAMERA REC MODE INITIAL CAMCORDER 2. Press the MENU button. CAMERA MEMORY CONT. SHOT WHT. BALANCE s The menu list will appear. VIEWER D. ZOOM DSE SELECT s 3. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight CAMERA and press the MENU DIAL. 4. Turn the MENU DIAL to activate the D. ZOOM and CAMERA REC MODE press the MENU DIAL. CAMERA SET s The D. ZOOM menu is changed to 6x. s If you do not want to use the Digital Zoom function, set the D. ZOOM menu to OFF. CONTINUOUS SHOT WHT. BALANCE s D. ZOOM 6X s DSE SELECT 5. To exit, press the MENU button. Note s The Digital Zoom magnifies the image. This may cause deteriora- s tion of the image when it is recorded using the maximum rate of magnification. 93
