You should confirm offline status by looking next to the radio tower icon in the title bar; it should read OFF. 3 To turn wireless back on, from the Jump screen, press MENU and select Airplane Mode > Turn Wireless On. Note that after you select the Turn Wireless On/Off menu item, it takes a few seconds for the radio to actually turn on or off. During that time, the menu item will appear dimmed and you will not be able to select it. Scroll down to highlight the Brightness slider. Press the trackball to open the slider for adjustment. Roll right to increase brightness; left to decrease.
