Phone book A memory in the SIM card where phone numbers can be stored and accessed by name or position. PIM Personal Information Management. Generic term for applications such as Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, and so on. POP3 Post Office Protocol 3 is a standard client/server protocol for receiving e-mail. The e-mail is received and held for you by your POP server. Periodically, the P900 Messages application can check your mail-box on the server and download any mail. Protocol In information technology, a protocol is the special set of rules that end points in a telecommunication connection use when they communicate.
